Momentum (IM#185)

Momentum is the force that puts victory within reach. In the architecture of success, it is the single most important variable. While growth requires effort, failure is the ultimate cost we pay when we lose momentum. At its core, momentum is simply the act of giving relentless continuity to your daily agenda. Nothing more, nothing less.

We must be willing to sacrifice short-term profits and immediate benefits for the sake of protecting our momentum. Why? Because the day momentum ceases is the day our passion, our purpose, and our meaning begin to wither. In a systems-based life, a stop is not just a pause; it is a breakdown of the entire machine.

To sustain this force, we must learn to accept both the highs of a breakthrough and the lows of adversity without breaking our stride. With enough momentum, nearly any kind of change is possible. Protect the streak, honor the daily agenda, and let the process do the heavy lifting.
