The Law of Process (IM164)

Knowing nothing is actually a massive asset; provided you are aware of it. The danger for most is the Dunning-Kruger Effect, where people are so unaware of their own ignorance that they have no idea what they’re missing, leaving them with no roadmap for growth. You cannot learn if you don’t first identify the gap in your own knowledge. As Benjamin Disraeli stated, “To become conscious that you are ignorant of the facts is the great step to knowledge.”

When people move past that initial stage of blind overconfidence and start recognizing the specific skills they lack, exciting things start to happen. This awareness is where the real work begins. By starting daily practice with discipline and determination, they grow more and more capable and eventually move closer to their passion.

But it all depends on the price they are willing to pay. It all depends on daily practice.

The secret of success lies in the daily agenda. It depends on our daily effort, experience, empathy, discipline, momentum, and our daily goals and vision. Our goal each day must be to become a little better and continue building our worth. Massive success does not happen in a day or a moment. It takes strong determination, perseverance, and time. Following this law of process makes us stronger and harder to defeat.
