Intention vs Goal (IM 589)
There is a fundamental difference between an intention and a goal. A goal is the destination, the specific point on the map where you want to arrive. Intention is the driving force that moves you toward that destination.
A goal gives us something to achieve, providing a target for our efforts. Intention gives meaning to the path we take to get there. It is the underlying "why" that fuels the process. Without a strong intention, a goal is just a hollow trophy.
When your intention is clear, your goals become more grounded and more purposeful. They are no longer just external markers of success but reflections of your internal values. By aligning your daily actions with a deeper intention, you ensure that the journey itself is as valuable as the achievement. Focusing on the quality of your intention is what ultimately determines the quality of your results.
