Follow that snake (IM#77)

We often hear that life is a journey, but it is more than that. At times, it is like following a snake: uncomfortable, scary, dangerous, and thrilling.

We have to follow it carefully, because if we move too fast, it may strike. That is what happens in real life too. When we rush toward our work, we often damage it. This is where the law of patience comes in.

Following the snake may hurt us. It may bring threat and discomfort along the way. But we still have to follow it, because some paths do not open to force. They open only to care, patience, and the willingness to keep going.
