Change and the progress (IM#177)

Change is the price we pay for progress. Without change, there is no real movement forward. A person who refuses to change usually refuses to learn, and without learning, growth becomes difficult.

Progress does not happen by staying exactly the same. It asks us to adjust, improve, and move beyond old ways of thinking and acting. This is why change can feel uncomfortable. It disrupts what is familiar. But that discomfort is often part of development.

Change also brings confidence and experience. Each time we adapt, we learn something about ourselves and about life. Over time, that process creates growth, and growth creates progress.

So if we want progress, we must be willing to accept change as part of the journey. One cannot exist meaningfully without the other.
