The Flow Of Everything (IM 946)

The flow of everything begins with execution. Without execution, there is no failure. Without failure, there is no learning. Without learning, there is no progress or improvement. And without progress and improvement, life starts losing its meaning and purpose.

That is why action is so important. Nothing truly moves until something is done. We can think, plan, and imagine for as long as we want, but without execution, nothing begins. Action is what puts life into motion.

Life without meaning and purpose is not worth living. It is only surviving. Meaning comes when we act, learn, improve, and continue moving forward.

The Drug Everyone Needs (IM 945)

The drug we all should take is the drug of optimism and self-awareness…

We all over-judge ourselves in every chapter of our life. As result of this, most of us become overwhelmed by the situation and keep dwelling.

The only thing optimism and self-awareness bring in these situations is happiness and peace of mind and that is all we’re seeking. If we understand this little concept and prescribe this drug to ourselves, all the sufferings and dwellings come to end

Cost Vs. Value (IM 944)

A $150 bottle of wine takes almost the same time as to make  $30 bottle of wine. A $50 worth of Nike sneakers can last as much a $200 worth of Nike pairs.

In most of the cases, the cost of the stuffs is not relevant. The cost cannot add value to the stuff. And people pay attention to its value not the cost. Customers don’t care about what the time or energy it took for you to make those products. They care about what values your product will add to their life.

It’s always about the values. Value is primary; everything else is secondary.

Too Quick For Conclusion (IM 943)

We, human being, have a story telling problem.  Most of the time we are too quick to come up with an explanations for the things we don’t really have an explanation for.

With the goal of making our story plausible, we tend to have an explanation without any facts or truth. Well, it’s a human nature. We don’t have the real reason behind our explanation other than to make our argument or our story convincing

Is It True? (IM 942)

The following ancient words from Eastern Philosophy sounds contradictory yet appealing.

"All warfare is based on deception. Hence, when we are able to attack, we must seem unable; when using our forces, we must appear inactive; when we are near, we must make the enemy believe we are far away; when far away, we must make him believe we are near.”

What meaning can be gain from above words? Is it true?

The Power Of Unity (IM 941)

The power of unity is beautifully defined by Sun Tzu in the book "The Art odf War". The following words makes is more clear:

“There are not more than five musical notes, yet the combinations of these five give rise to more melodies than can ever be heard.
There are not more than five primary colors, yet in combination
they produce more hues than can ever been seen.
There are not more than five cardinal tastes, yet combinations of
them yield more flavors than can ever be tasted.”

Essentials For Victory: From "The Art Of War" (IM 940)

From the book, "The Art of War", there are five essential for victory as written by SunTzu. They are:

1 He will win who knows when to fight and when not to fight.
2 He will win who knows how to handle both superior and inferior forces.
3 He will win whose army is animated by the same spirit throughout all its ranks.
4 He will win who, prepared himself, waits to take the enemy unprepared.
5 He will win who has military capacity and is not interfered with by the sovereign.”

The Great Lesson (IM 939)

It has never been the case that what was of great importance has been slightly cared for and that what was of slight importance has been greatly cared for.

This has always been true…

So, everyone should be careful of their thought because thought are important as they define us. And everyone should be watchful over themselves when they are alone because it’s the time when thoughts come into play.

This is the greatest lesson one can learn.

Not Knowing Is A Bliss? (IM 938)

Lao Tzu in his book “The Tao Te Ching” said that to know and yet think we do not know is the highest attainment and not to know and yet think we do know is a disease.

This disease is the hindrance towards greatness because it stays between us and our future. It is the obstacle for learning as it closes all the door of learning.

Lots Of Noise? (IM 937)

There is a beautiful quote by Plato which goes – “A wise man speaks because he has something to say, but a fool speaks because he want to say something.” This is so relatable.

This is same as saying an empty container makes a lot of noise. Those who have knowledge don’t speak too much they just listen. A person without any knowledge just speak for the sake of speaking.

A container full of water does not make a lot of noise.
