What is it for oil companies now? (IM 566)

The crude oil has gone negative passing the zero as the war between Russia and Saudi Arabia continues. The stock of many crude oil companies are trembling short making the future uncertain.

Many research shows that these two country can withstand the oil war for about 6 years. And all counties around the world have to suffer from this. The over supply of oil and limited use of it in United States might make oil companies bankrupt if it continues like this.

Nobody knows what is it in the coming future.

Protect your energy (IM 565)

Protecting energy means utilizing energy only on the things that really matters.

And to protect the energy, it’s okay to be cancel the appointment.

To utilize energy on right thing, it’s okay to avoid parties and chills.

To protect energy, it’s okay to unfriend the friends who pull you back.

To protect the energy, it’s okay to struggle to make yourself strong.

Reverse splitting yourself (IM 564)

"Reverse splitting" is a term very familiar to the investors. When the price of the stock goes down, the company decides to decrease the number of shares by a specific ratio maintaining the total equity unchanged. Recently, because of the crude oil crash, a lot of crude oil ETFs were reverse splitted.

We can use this approach in practice in our daily life. But how?

Whenever we get overwhelmed or whenever we encounter a vulnerable situation, we can reverse engineer the situation and set the priorities, which will decease the amount of stuff to be done. This allows to focus on the important thing, which increases the effectiveness and ultimately enhances the performance level.

Setting up the priorities (IM 563)

Decision is what makes everyone anxious. It is the human nature to be unsatisfied of the decision we make. That’s the the reason why figuring out the priorities is important.

When we set up the priorities, our every acts become more effective and efficient. Our time becomes productive. Doing the work on the basis of priorities is what makes our everyday life simple and successful.

Whether it be your work or your relationships, setting up your priorities help you make the best out if it.

Journey and the reward (IM 562)

We all work to achieve success and we struggle for it. We always care about the end not realizing that our journey is the reward.

No matter how it ends, we must enjoy the journey towards it, but the hard reality is that our adventure is not going to be effortless. Its the full of blood and sweat.

So accepting our present situation and acting according to it will be the best option can probably choose.

Keeping up the momentum (IM 561)

Momentum puts victory within reach. It plays an important role when it comes to success. Failure is the cost to pay when we lose the momentum.

It is the act of giving continuity to certain things.  Nothing more nothing less.

We must be willing to sacrifice all the profits and benefits for the sake of creating momentum. The day momentum cease is the day our passion, our dream, our purpose and meaning die.

To keep the momentum, we must accept all the breakthrough and adversity as with enough momentum, nearly any kind of change is possible.

A different lens (IM 560)

What if you have followed your principles, defined your core values, but still get unfulfilled with the result?

Maybe it’s a time to take a a step back and use a different lens.

Maybe....

It’s a time to self-analyze.

Redefine your principles.

Reverse-engineer our core values.

Analyze your true needs.

Differentiate the negative energy.

Absorb the positive vibes.

Develop the sense of belonging and gratitude.

Appreciate our results.

The invisible power (IM 559)

The roots create the fruits.

In real life, the roots are our inputs and fruits are the outputs.

We can’t get a fruits from a tree which has the unfamiliar roots.

The invisible things are more powerful than the visible.

The problem is we live strictly in the visible world. We don’t realize that to change the visible stuffs, we got to change the invisible first. We got to change the seeds to get different fruits.

The invisible stuffs, to change, are within ourselves.

Risk, Return and Reward (IM 558)

Risk: It is a situation involving exposure to danger and uncertainty. Executing anything is a risk.

Return: It is the thing that should be considered after we execute on the priorities. Based on it, we should work on the area that gives us the best return of our execution.

Reward: Along with the return, which of our actions reward us the most should be the one that should be kept repeating and brought into action. Which action meets our passion and the vision should be figured out before we go for it.

All these three ‘R’s: Risk, Return and Reward work as foundation for success.

How to seek progress amid uncertainty? (IM 557)

It is understandable to be overwhelmed by the current situation. Research claims that the rate of anxiety and depression all around the world has skyrocketed due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. With total cases of 2 million and death of 122k, the furture still remains uncertain.

Carl Jung once said,”Man need difficulties. They are necessary for health.” There are two outcomes from this difficult situation and that is either you turn it into boon by materializing your true potential or you become the slave of it. And I believe everyone goes with the former. The reflection from this difficult situation is very important as it triggers our perspective and push us towards progress.

So the question here arises: How to turn pain into progress?

First and foremost, what we need to understand is that learning and both unlearning is progress. The greatest challenge of 21st century is to adjust with the environment and keep moving forward. No matter whether you want to rule the world or you want to be ruled, knowledge is essential.
