Hard work vs Long work (IM 458)
They are not the same.
Hard work is hard because some tasks fail if you do not push with full effort. Long work is different. You do not conquer it in one burst. You stay with it. You keep going.
Solving an important problem is often long work. It still needs discipline, but not always in the same way hard work does. It asks more of your patience, persistence, and willingness to return.
The result in long work does not arrive the way it does in hard work. It forms more slowly. It asks for time.
Hard work wins certain moments. Long work builds bigger things.
