An important microscope (IM#197)
It is the microscope through which we study and analyze ourselves.
Watch yourself.
Guard yourself.
Become conscious.
Observe your thoughts.
Observe your fears.
Observe your beliefs.
Observe your habits.
Analyze your actions and inactions.
Study yourself and put your own mind under a microscope.
This self-examination is the best possible thing we can ever do. By reframing our internal narrative from a collection of random impulses into a subject of rigorous study, we gain the clarity needed to change our reality. We cannot adjust a perspective we have not yet identified. Growth begins the moment we stop being the victim of our thoughts and start being the observer of them.
