Quality time (IM#162)
It is not the length of time we spend with people that defines the relationship. It is how consciously and deeply we communicate when we are with them. In every interaction, it is not the quantity of minutes that matters, but the quality of our presence.
This same principle applies to our personal growth and our professional output. It is not important how many hours we sit at a desk or how long we claim to work on ourselves. What matters is the effectiveness of that focus. High intensity, productive time is the only metric that moves the needle.
We must shift our awareness away from simply "putting in the hours" and toward the depth of our engagement. Whether in a conversation or a complex project, the results are determined by our level of awareness and the precision of our execution. Choose quality over quantity every time.
