How it works (IM#132)

What gets nourished gets flourished.

What gets prioritized gets perfected.

What gets measured gets done.

What gets rewarded gets repeated.

What gets repeated becomes a habit.

What gets habituated creates the destiny.

This is how it works. Everything has got answer. We got to be patient and watch how things get completed.

What we seek...(IM#131)

What we seek is what we get. We get answers when we keep questioning.

Seeking and consistently working on it is what takes us closer towards our goal.

Seeking solution to that problem that screwed your performance is important.

Seeking a different way to perform you work is necessary.

Seeking change is crucial.

Seeking knowledge is also necessary. Seeking is what life truly is. It is the driving force of success.

Imagination (IM#130)

It is the catalyst for change. It the one that sparks the fire, the hunger of our future.

Imagination drive us to insurmountable level of success. By imagination we can bring towards us, whatever we want in our life; and with action we get it. It is very powerful as innovation happens with imagination.

But we have underestimated the power of imagination and have suffered a lot.

The story of IBM (IM#129)

I came up with the story of Tom Watson, the founder of IBM, yesterday. He shared the secrets behind the atmospheric success of IBM.

He said:

"IBM is what it is today because of three main reasons. The first reason is that, at the inception of IBM, I had a very clear pictorial of what the company would look like when it was finally done. precisely, I already had the blueprint in my mind of what would my vision- my dream- look like in reality.

The second reason is that once I had a picture of what it would look like, I then asked myself- how a company which looked like that would have to act. I then created the picture of how the company would act when it was finally done.

The third reason IBM has been so successful was that once I had a picture of how IBM would look like when my vision- my dream- was in place and how such company would have to act, I then realized that, unless we begin to act that way from the very beginning, we would never get there.

In other words, I realized that for IBM to become a great company it would have to act like a great company long before it ever became one.

From the very beginning, IBM was modeled after the blueprint of my vision. And each and everyday we attempted to model the company after that blueprint.Everyday at the IBM was a day devoted to business development, not doing business.

We didn't do business at IBM, we built one."

This story reveals the secret of what makes a great business or organization great. It also tells us that the very successful organization start by a vision and acting like the one the want to become from the very beginning.

A sign of mature organization (IM#128)

A mature organization is started completely different than all the rest. It is formed with broader perspective, unlimited will-power and a more intelligent point of view.

A mature organization starts by developing their core values and make their every decision based on it. The present action of these mature organizations is shaped by their vision.

They don't get mature at times, rather they start as mature. They start by acting like the one they want to see their organization in near future. They start from the end. This is what that makes them great.

The companies like Mc. Donald's, Federal Express, IBM and Disney didn't end up as a mature companies rather they started out that way. The people who started them had a totally different perspectives about their business and their role in their business.

Same applies for any other non-profitable organizations as well. To build a successful organization they should start and act mature.

No, the world is not the problem (IM#127)

No, it's not the people who are driving us crazy, it's not our job and a busy schedule that is driving us mad, and it's not that rude costumer who is making us insane.

No, it's not the world that's the problem. It's simply that we don't have any other alternatives to get our work done.

The key to solve this problem is to plan, envision and articulate what we see in the future for ourselves and the people we care about because any plan is better than no plan.

In the process of defining the future, our plan begins to shape itself into reality, both the reality of the world out there and the reality that we are about to design here. When these two-reality merge, a new reality emerges, a new perception unfolds. It’s a unique invention that’s uniquely ours; which is the reality of our mind and our heart uniting with all our ideas to shape, design and collaborate and form something that never existed before.

Customizing life (IM#126)

Most of us live very disorganized life. Our thoughts and actions doesn't match at all. We think everyday "what do we want" and believe that it's something different. We convince ourselves to do something, but in reality, we end up doing something completely opposite.

Customizing life means systematizing it. To customize our life, we got to:

define what we want,

figure out our principles,

find our "WHY"

identify and plan the best way to meet our "WHY"

measure our progress towards our vision; cut-off what's not working,

systematize what works and do it consistently making ourselves an expert.

Behind change(IM#125)

It is self-evident that we are all meant to grow, and with growth comes change. Life does not remain fixed, and neither should we. Growth naturally asks us to move, adjust, and become something more than what we were before.

But unfortunately, most of us do not live according to this principle. Instead, we become fixed in our own thoughts, beliefs, and ways of living. We resist change because it feels uncomfortable, unfamiliar, and uncertain. We want growth, but we do not want the disruption that often comes with it.

That is where the problem begins. The more rigid we become, the more we block our own progress. We keep holding on to old ways even when they no longer serve us. We refuse to rethink, relearn, or adapt, and that is one of the main reasons we fall behind.

The freedom myth (IM#124)

Most of us believe that having tight schedule isn't 'living' and we want to have freedom to our daily schedules. We prefer freedom on what we want to do and when we want.

But the irony here is achieving our set goals requires a lot of planning, execution, discipline and a driving energy. So it's better to bury our "so called freedom desire" for the sake of our goals.

Three rules (IM#123)

There are three things that should be considered if we decide to play the game, whether it is the game of life or the real game.

First, we must know the rules of the game. Most often, we just decide to play the game, just by seeing other players, without knowing the rules. This can be very devastating in most of the game we decide to play (like entrepreneurship, investing and many more).

Second is stakes. We must know our boundaries so that we can focus more efficiently in the rules of the games. If we are not too specific it might harm us.

Third is the time to change the strategy. We can't get different and effective result using the same strategy. We must be open minded to modify or to change the strategy if the old strategy is not working at all. We must decide the time for this otherwise, it might be too late. This is also catastrophic if our timing is wrong.
