I am Sameer Khadka. I’m an engineer by profession and I design the electrical and electronic side of medical devices.
Since 2018, I have been sharing ideas on various topics from business to economics to entrepreneurship to philosophy via this platform that I have been exploring. I started sharing about the various topics that I’ve learned and have been learning as this process never stops just like John Wheeler once said, “As the island of knowledge grows, so do the shores of our ignorance.”
Futurist Alvin Toffler once wrote, “The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read and write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and relearn.” One of the most important steps in this process of learning, unlearning, and relearning is to shift the perception just like the Galilean Revolution, and Darwinian Revolution.
Interrogating myself in every step of this exploration has made this journey worthwhile. One thing I learned in this process is that we really understand things in hindsight. We can only really comprehend what is going on only after we have done it and after we have done retrospect about it. I think this is what 18th Century German philosopher Hagel meant when he said, “The owl of Minerva flies only at dusk.” We can’t just talk the talk, but we need to walk the walks to really understand the meaning.
I would like to end this bio in Buddha’s words: “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who has said it, not even if I have said it, unless it aligns with your own reason and your own common sense.”
