Fear never beginning to live (IM 840)

This words from Book 12 of Meditations by Marcus Aurelius always inspires me to be patient and to live the present moment:

Everything you are trying to reach - by taking any long rounds, you can have it right now, right this moment, if you'd only stop thwarting your own attempts, if you'd let go of the past, entrust the future to providence and guide the present towards reverence and justice. You should never fear of ceasing to live; instead fear of never beginning to live.
