A clear end (IM 794)

“Look to the end, no matter what it is you are considering. Often enough god gives man a glimpse of happiness and utterly ruins him.”                             -The Histories, Herodotus, Fifth Century  Unhappy endings are much more common than happy ones, yet we are overwhelmed by the happy endings in our mind. If we have clear and far thinking, we will understand that the future is uncertain and we must be open to adaptation. Proper planning all the way to the end is necessary in order to get victory. Our plans doesn’t work in most of the cases because they are too vague and open ended. When we are in the process of striking a massive success, we should not lose our head over a vague, open-ended dream but plan to the end. The biggest challenge in the process of achieving dream is to know when to stop. The solution to this challenge is by planning all the way to the conclusion. We should know when to stop while we are in the mission of achieving great success because the person who goes to far in his triumphs creates a reaction that inevitably leads to decline.  There is a simple reason why most people fall after massive success- they form no concrete idea of their goal, once they achieve victory they become hungry for more. That’s a true disaster! To foresee future we should have a concrete plan all the way to the end of our goals.
