Accepting the destiny (IM 744)

It doesn't really matter what we expect from life, but rather what life expects from us. We need to stop thinking about the meaning of life , and instead think of ourselves as those who are questioned by life-daily and hourly and execute based on it. These executions differ from person to person and from moment to moment. So, it's impossible to generalize any moment just like no man and no destiny can be compared with any other man and any other destiny. No situation repeats itself and each situation has different response and teaches us different lesson. Every situation is distinguished by its uniqueness and there is always only one right answer to the problem caused by the certain situation. If we are destined to suffer, we will have to accept this suffering as our unique task. We will have to acknowledge that even in this suffering there is uniqueness and lessons to be learned and no one and nothing can relieve us from suffering.
