Evolution and natural selection (IM 623)

Yes, it's the Darwin who came up with the evolution by the means of natural selection. It provides the most beautiful and elegant explanation of everything that's happening in this universe. It explains not only why we are here but also why trees ,dogs, English, the Russia, the Barcelona Football team and the iPhones are here. It's simple and powerful, but nobody thought of it before Darwin, and even today most people fail to grasp the essence of it. The main reason for it could be that people take it as a tautology. It's same as saying "successful ideas are successful" or "things that matters matter".
