A lesson in navigation (IM 610)
Effective navigation come into effect with experience. No matter how much you learn from your past action, it will never teach you all you need for the present and the future. That's why navigation is important.
A captain who doesn't know how to navigate the road ahead will likely sink the ship and so does all the business and corporate leaders and entrepreneurs. J. Maxwell wrote it beautifully as: PLAN AHEAD:
Predetermine the course of action.
Lay out your goals.
Adjust you priorities.
Notify key personnel.
Allow time for acceptance.
Head into action.
Expect problems.
Always point to the success.
Daily review your plans.
