The thought factor (IM 587)

Any accomplishment is linked with the thought aligned with the purpose. Thought aligned fearlessly to the purpose becomes a creative force that can drive any changes and successes. A man should conceive of a legitimate purpose in his heart, and set out to accomplish it and this purpose should be the central point of the thoughts. The planted thoughts bloom and become a  fruit which does not fall prematurely to the ground. A man can only rise, conquer and achieve by lifting up his thought. Achievement is the crown of effort, which is the result of thought. Everything originates from the thought. This is the thought factor.
