The Result of Intellectual Curiosity (IM 464)

This morning I read an article on CNBC about a 17-year-old who discovered a planet 6.9 times larger than Earth. This story is pretty interesting as he discovered this on the third day of internship with NASA. Wolf Cukier got two month of internship on NASA during his junior year at high school. His first assignment was to examine the variation in star brightness. Intellectual curiosity led to the discovery of new planet, named "TOI 1338 b". According to NASA, TOI 1338 b is 6.9 times larger than Earth (in between the size of Neptune and Saturn) about 1,300 light-years away from Earth. https://youtu.be/nfcTyuz8LWs
