The true purpose (IM 359)
Eckhart Tolle in his book "A New Earth" said there are two purpose in an individual's life: Inner purpose and the Outer purpose.
Inner purpose means 'being' and is primary while the outer purpose means 'doing' and is secondary. The inner purpose is the purpose of humanity and and most of us share it. The outer purpose is our expectations or aims and changes over time and people.
The outer purpose is the future thing while the inner purpose is the present moment happening right now.
Finding and living in an alignment with the inner purpose is the foundation for fulfilling our outer purpose - it's the basis of true success.
