Seeking importance: right or wrong? (IM#209)

Everybody wants to be supreme in the crowd. We all want that sense of importance in public and we do whatever it takes to get there. Most often we squeeze other people's character to make ourselves feel supreme. How cheap is that? We believe that making other people feel embarrassedĀ  is what gives us the sense of significance which is absolutely the ridiculous thing most people do. This completely depends on our nature; what we truly seek for. There is nothing wrong with seeking importance and value. But the problem arises when we 'disvalue' other people for that sake. The victim here should understand that whatever the other person, who is constantly seeking importance, says, it's not the direct attack but it is their nature, it's their principles.
