Why we complicate things? (IM#179)

This sounds crazy but it's true that most of the time we complicate or we try to complicate our things. We think our stuff or the problem to be tough but in reality it's not. Maybe we do this just because we want to show to others that we do cool things and figure out difficult problems. Whatever the reason is, it's true too often that we complicate our things for no real and worthy reason. So judging the things: good or bad, easy or tough doesn't sound worthy.
