Is this the proper vehicle? (IM#95)

One of my mentor asked me to scale my current position in life from 1 - 10, with 10 being the perfect or the dream life. My answer at that time was around 2, not because I was doing nothing but because I had higher and scary goals.

He then asked me, "Are you taking the proper vehicle to reach that destination?"

The illustration he gave that day still stuns me. He said, If you want to go to Australia, not matter whether you got Lamborghini or Rolls Royce, you got to take flight.

The lesson here is if we want to reach certain destination, we need to take proper vehicle. We need to do the things that can take us closer towards that destination, towards that dream life.

So our question to ourselves should be, Is this the proper vehicle?
